Junior Apprentice Bookkeeper

Hours: 9am – 5pm (Mon – Fri)

Salary: £12k to £15k

Annual Leave – 25 Days

Location - Borehamwood

The Apprentice Bookkeeper will be a member of the Factotum Accounts team, providing outsourced bookkeeping services to a diverse range of clients.  They will be on an Apprenticeship contract and will study for AAT alongside gaining on-the-job training from an experienced team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Enter data, maintain records and create reports
• Process accounts receivable/payable
• General financial administration
• Data input into different accounting systems and excel

Relevant Skills and Knowledge:

• IT savvy and experience of Excel
• GSCE maths and ideally to A level or BTEC in finance /business
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
