Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed HR / L&D Assistant to join our HR team in London.

Are you looking to expand your knowledge and build your experience in both HR and Learning & Development, if so then come and join our Comex 2000 family and apply for the Assistant role! Working directly for the HR Director you will support your colleagues across both the HR and L&D departments.

What will you be doing?

As a HR / L&D Assistant, a few core responsibilities will be –

  • Support the HR team with the onboarding, in-life and offboarding processes. From arranging interviews, inductions, change of contract terms to exit interviews.
  • Work closely with the HR Advisors and HR Director with case management, performance, absence, recruitment issues and produce relevant correspondence for administration
  • Support the performance review process including guidance to managers / employees around appraisals, one-to-one’s, probation reviews etc.
  • Providing an efficient L&D service for course administration including the planning and co-ordination of all courses through to administration to delegates, (including, registrations, course instructions, pre-learning material) and dealing with alterations, cancellations etc
  • Liaise with Comex 2000-line managers to ensure L&D events are published and communicated to maximise take up and minimise additional charges for cancellations/changes
  • Generate reports and MI data periodically to produce analytical data for directorates and departments
  • Assist with periodic and ad hoc projects e.g. recruitment campaigns, pay bands, apprenticeships, inductions
  • Administer necessary letters for internal changes, i.e. promotions, transfers, leavers, reference requests
  • Providing an excellent customer service by acting as a point of contact for L&D and HR general queries from internal customers through all forms of communication
  • To provide general administrative support to the Head of L&D and the HR team
